Event Description
The poetic rock singer/songwriter & author known for his energetic live performances. Young incorporates vivid lyricism into his unpredictable & unique song structures.
Originally from Columbus, Georgia Young formed the dynamic rock/hiphop band Stereomaster & toured the southeast for the majority of his 20’s. Stereomaster (BEZ; Jordan Manley) with such a diverse musical range quickly gained popularity within the college circuits & went from playing dive bars & parties to prestigious venues & music festivals.
Young’s creative passion continued to grow as he shifted from songwriting to storytelling & poetry. He would then release God’s in the Water and a collection of short stories and poetry.
Young relocated to Nashville & released his first solo album Nocturne for the Nocturnal.
“It’s all in the title—Nocturne for the Nocturnal is an homage of the way I’m captivated by the night in a creative & innate sense. Everything speaks louder to me when the sun goes down—colors are impossibly more vivid & the air is more romantic when the moon flirts with the stars.”
In 2022 Young released Play It Loud So the Stars Can Hear, an electric & vibrant project catapulting the nocturnal lyricist into outer space.
“I’ve realized recently that everything I’ve been writing has basically been attempted love letters to the moon. For me it’s a celebration reiterating my obsession with the blessing of the mysterious beauty, sensuality, and exoticness the moon provokes.”
