Incubator program for ‘opportunities beyond gallery walls’

A resource hub for artists of color has been quietly operating in Atlanta since 2016. Run by Dionna Collins, ComfiArt is an incubator program that gives visual artists access to exclusive content, virtual networking sessions, and downloadable resources. The ultimate goal is monetizing their work. Over the past five years, ComfiArt has shown nearly 100 artists how to navigate the e-commerce space and introduced them to a community of coaches, managers, legal representatives, and marketing professionals. “Our approach,” Collins said, “is to ensure artists in every one of our programs are set up for sustainable success and exposure to opportunities beyond gallery walls.” comfiart.com
