Atlanta According to chef and Lusca co-owner Nhan Le
The talented family man shares his Atlanta go-tos
Chef and restaurateur Nhan Le is a simple guy. He’s a family man who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty or have a good time when the day is done. On most nights you can find him posted up at Lusca’s raw bar shucking oysters and whipping up pristine nigiri for his fans. Here are a few of this seafood whisperer’s Atlanta go-tos.
The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of Atlanta are growing, supportive, and diverse.
The movie theatre is my favorite place to go when it is really freakin’ hot.
Home grown is the best restaurant to take the kids.
Busy Bee Cafe is where I take visiting chef friends for dinner.
Underground Atlanta is the place I would advise someone to never go in Atlanta.
The shed behind So Ba/Octopus Bar is my favorite spot in the city to think deep thoughts by myself.
Hong Kong Super Market is the best place to buy seafood to cook at home.
Atlanta’s motto should be City of Opportunity.
One thing I think might make Atlanta a little bit better is better public transportation.
