Former Atlanta Hawks legend Dikembe Mutombo grew up an ocean away in the nation today known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. But he’s called Atlanta home since signing with the Hawks in the mid ’90s. Though he’s often traveling around the word for his philanthropic foundation, he still has time to gush about the city too busy to hate. Just don’t ask him the wrong question. His infamous index finger is ready and waiting to swat it away.
